Our Process - CMRC
Snow invented the CmiRecycle "Call me Recycle" (CMRC) process initially to design and donated upcycled material linen masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. This led her to discover the broader potential of the process for creating new garments and cutting edge fashion pieces by directly using surplus materials. Together with her design team, they developed an innovative upcycling approach to tackle the fashion industry's excess stock challenges. The CMRC process has since earned multiple sustainability certifications and is now core to all projects at SnowLee Fashion Lab, which we are scaling for the global fashion and textile industry.
Over the years, we’ve showcased our work at New York Fashion Week (NYFW) twice, where we displayed our upcycling designs that merged sustainability with high-end fashion. By leveraging our upcycling surplus materials and our innovative design process, we have empowered 20+ designers and brands, including Roots Canada, Extra Butter, Live on the Legacy, Carbon2cobalt, Cotte D’Armes, etc.
We partnered with Clarence Ruth, Creative Director of Cotte D’Armes and won the Disney 100 of Tommy Hilfiger’s People’s Place and LVMH’s HFR Challenges, we further explored creative ways to incorporate sustainability into innovative textile sector.

We believe Upcycling is true way to achieve fashion sustainability, achieving zero-waste fashion future.
